Our adventurous spirit didn't give us peace. We left the planned route, and headed toward the unknown roads of Köstri hills (Köstrimäed) near Kambja borough. The rainwashed air was dense and full of strong scents of ripening rye fields and forest flowers. The route’s first part offered even landscape, a short technical sector covered in egg-sized stones, and the elephant head rock known from our Postman’s. It was at this rock where we took our first pause. Around Kobratu, the terrain became hillier, and sun-dried sandy climbs started playing games with our balancing abilities.
